KAC USP-T Suppressor
KAC USP-T Suppressor
Ok, with all this talk about the KAC USP-T suppressor, I'm getting the itch to get one!
For those of you that have the USP-T or MK 23 variant, please post some pictures of your suppressor & host package.
I'm undecided on a host, so let's see what you got!

Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
If you are still undecided on a host, may I suggest either the USP 45 Tactical, the USP 45 ct, the HK45ct or the Mark 23. I have used my OHG suppressors on all but the HK45ct. They make an already peerless pistol so much smoother, quieter and more tame that an ear to ear grin is the result of everyone who shoots them. For the record, the Mark 23 is the quietest, next is the full size Tactical and then is the CT.BriggsRi wrote:fustercluck,

You are in Vegas. If you want to try them out and find yourself in SLC, give me a shout...

Briggs, with the KAC goodies I've seen you post, I'm shocked that you don't have this can already
I'm loving the pics A thing of true beauty

D9M9TR9S, I have the Knight's Armament catalog and I'm working on it page by page
fustercluck, I'm looking at the HK USP Tactical or the Sig P220 Tactical - the HK & OHG make a fine looking pair!
Come on, let's some more KAC OHG goodness

Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
If you are wanting to use the OHG can then I don't think the Sig will be an option. The threads for the sig are .578x28 while the KAC is only available in 16X1 LH/RH.BriggsRi wrote:

I will post some pics later tonight.
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Maybe I used the OHG term to quickly - does this apply to both of the KAC offerings USP-T & MK23 suppressors?
Of the two, which one would give me more flexibility to use with different hosts?

Well, the problem is that the Knights suppressors are only available in 16x1 threads. The Mark 23 suppressor is 16x1 RH thread. The KAC Tactical suppressor is 16x1 LH thread. The Sig threads won't work with either. The better answer is to get an HK for the KAC suppressor. The piston spring ratings are tuned to the HKs anyway. It will be a trouble free marriage.
If you want a suppressor that can be more modular/flexible, you should go with the Silencerco or the TiRant.
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
You guys are a wealth of information - thank you! I'm thinking that the HK Tactical is the way to go.

You will not be disappointed. If you want to try them out and are in SLC sometime, let me know. We'll go shoot some targets and you can see first hand how cool they are.BriggsRi wrote:You guys are a wealth of information - thank you! I'm thinking that the HK Tactical is the way to go.

fustercluck, thanks for the offer - if I can make it up your way, I will absolutely give you a call!
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Mike_0120 you have a spacer for your suppressed UMP?
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Negative. Per 3, no such production item exists.D9M9TR9S wrote:Mike_0120 you have a spacer for your suppressed UMP?
The can takes more abuse this way, but it's also built like a brick shithouse. I'm willing to accept the risk.
I suppose you could come up with a homemade solution for a spacer.

mcmillanman5, very cool - thanks for posting!
What's the story with suppressor on the right, looks like an older wipe model. I would really like to see it in action - any videos?

Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Okay, how can I get one of those USPct suppressors?
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Wait in line, cause I'm looking too!
According to Casey, this was a special run for HK and KAC no longer makes / have them in! Man, these are way way too cool!

Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
Not a special run but rather on a limited production, and I am fairly certain that there they were all sold. In fact I overheard that this was taken off the Commercial price list today. This happened before questions were asked, funny timing.
Re: KAC USP-T Suppressor
I'm guessing that is the USP CT supperssor in action - very cool!
