If I'm looking at this right, the SR15 mod 1 will have the new 13.5"urx 3.1 and 45° offset sights. Interesting. Can you guys fill us in on the official changes to the legacy SR15 E3? Will it still be offered in the mod 0 configuration?

The only guns shipping with the 45 offsets are the SR-25 ECC and ECR.

The other guns are coming with Micro sights (front and rear).

We are still producting the 'legacy' SR-15E3 (P/N 24002) but as the majority of comsumers have asked for taper pinned gas blocks, and a longer rail we added a model to accomodate the customer bases. Generally this has been our direction for 2012, is to give the customers several different models, and let them decided what best their needs/wants are, instead of buying a gun, and then modifiying it to suit them.

Thanks for the clarifications Kevin. Some folks will try to prognosticate on configuration based on the mock ups shown in the promotional material. The new models are sounding very promising!
