Hi Tuukka
Can you elaborate on the differences in general? Which will be the more silent of them in a given caliber?
I have a jet-z for my 6.5x47 Lapua, but the silencer is for .30 and probably not optimal for the calibre... will there be a significant improvement if the silencer was made for the 6.5 ?

Re: North Star vs Jet-z compact
Hi,
The jet-Z COMPACT has a 3-4 dB better suppression level when measured from the 1m left of the muzzle location, compared to the NorthStar.
With the .30 calibre jet-Z COMPACT, your suppression on a 6.5mm calibre is c. 27-28 dB and with the .25 jet-Z COMPACT it is c. 31-32 dB ( examples from 6.5x55 SE )
The calibre specific model has better suppression, the larger one allows use up to 300 WM if necessary.
