Silencer Wipes Design

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Wipe technology is old and introduces many problems.

A little judicious search on YouTube will get you started.

To exercise inordinate control ATF now call each wipe not a suppressor-part but an actual suppressor
which dictates that one send the suppressor back to manufacturer
for replacement. Else you are putting yourself in legal jeapordy. Be careful.

Cutting a replacement wiper piece from neoprene sheet could be verboten.

Wag at club after-shoot a while back when above determination was announced wondered when
the 'idle hands are the devil's workshop' at ATF might seek to say that each tissue
of Chairman is a toilette roll and thus is a possible suppressor part as the roll was once
used as an insert in a Fram Filter Can.

Please, Texas, win your suit against ATF whose lawyers weakly argue that suppressors
are legally under ATF control because a suppressor:

1. A suppressor is a firearm[/b] => ergo under Supreme Court Ruling falls under 2A => ergo they cannot control
AND in this case
2. A suppressor is NOT a firearm so that they CAN control them, upon which wise judge
asked " ..are they ALCOHOL? >> NO
TOBACCO? >> NO
Thus ATF has no control over them.

Could the money and agents times be better spent SURPRESSING crime in inner cities, at the border,
and subways! Did their attorneys get their law degrees from Law Schools that advertise at the
back of magazines or match book covers.? :) :)

The pendulum is swinging back. VOTE!!

I already have k & 60deg cone for both 9mil and 45acp but i would like to try wipes for a change. Nothing to do for the upcoming weekends.

I am not in the USA and in our part of the globe, suppressors are not regulated. Thanks.

A "suppressor" is like Schrodinger's Cat.

In Vienna there is a house whose sign said if memory serves:

"Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger was or was not born here". :) :)

Look up Navy WOX-1 or Hush puppy also Snap-on suppressor. A little lithium grease helps quiet it even more.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!
