I got the call last week, must have been the same batch as yours. I got to mail in the forms on friday! Can't wait! Oh, mine shipped in the tube too!

This was after I got a call in July that it was in. When I showed up, it was an M42K 07. VERY nice, but more than I wanted to spend. That was a huge let down. "What? It's in already? Cool! I'll be there in an hour." Followed by "Damn, this isn't mine..."

The dealer had me cut the sticker on the tube myself. Funny.. The guy who helped me today wasn't either of the two people I dealt with before...

He didn't even check my ID before handing the can over to me. :shock:

I don't know if I'll be able to wait until the weekend to shoot it. I might be calling in sick. :wink:

Still NOTHING.

This are my first cans and I'm at 52 days right now.

I guess filling out the Form4 before you had the can at your dealer worked out for you. Glad to hear it. As you know, my dealer went out of business when I had my first 2 cans inbound, luckly I didn't do my Form4s ahead of time.

I can do a Form 4 before the silencer arrives at my dealer? I have the serial number.

OK, now it's been three months. Gemtech told me two weeks ago they were about to ship it. Today they said they had an ATF compliance check and weren't allowed to ship anything but it should go out next week. Great. I could have had my stamp by now if I could have done the Form 4 as soon as I found out the serial number.

It can be done, it's just risky. What happens if you get shipped a different serial? ATF might be a little upset that you've filed federal forms for something that was never sold to you. Also, will you have to pay for another tax stamp if you do get a different #? Don't know of any legalities, but it's risky to save a month or so. But, obviously it worked out this time.

CRAP! Still waiting for mine. Ordered it from CCA in Knoxville TN in Early Sept. I have been whistling the tune for Jeopardy for 2 months now. I've learned my lesson about stocking dealers but sadly, the only other dealer close by had really old crap it looked like they had been trying to sell off for years.

I sent my form 4 paperwork out 9/24 and picked up my warlock on 11/1. I thought the ATF was going fast, but this is my 2nd can. My AAC Evolution 45 took exactly 3 months.
