What do you carry? & pic thread
Here's a picture of my carry P7 (cleaned and lubed after I bought it a while back). I carry it in a leather Don Hume 721OT (OWB) holster.
I really love this pistol. To me, it's the ultimate carry pistol. It's:
- slim (allows comfortable carry, both OWB and IWB)
- has instant target acquisition (due to extremely natural "pointability")
- ultra-low bore axis (low felt-recoil)
- safe (squeeze-cocking mechanism settles your mind about having a round in the chamber while carrying, and is much easier to activate on the draw than a slide-mounted safety. no "fumbling" the safety here!)
- single-action trigger (due to the cocking being done by the squeeze handle)
It's truly an engineering marvel. Of interesting note to those of you who have not handled/fired a P7 (of any variant):
The squeeze handle is easy to depress (in the hands of a capable adult) and once compressed, stays compressed with very minimal force. In other words, you have to want to compress it, and once it's compressed, it stays compressed very easily.
edit:
Oh, and if there are any doubters out there.... here's some propaganda!!!!

lol enjoy!
(don't blame me if your wallet gets a bit lighter soon )
edit 2:
The video is long, but don't worry it's worth it. Some things I forgot to mention - the squeeze cocking lever also closes the slide. Also, the pistol can function without an extractor, because of it's fluted chamber! lol It's fucking brilliant.
I think those things are covered in that video too.

I would like to see pics of that holster and how it plays. They look nice. Might consider one.misfit762 wrote:HK45 with a threaded barrel and a Streamlight TRL-1s 300 lumen w/strobe and Heine Straight 8's. A Raven Concealment holster is on its way.

Here is my latest and greatest CC piece. I was not sure about S&W M&P line (thinking it's a glorified glock knock off). I am very pleased with the accuracy and concealment. Top notch firearm.
A citizen noted the hammer back on the 1911 carried in the waist band by Charlie Miller, Texas Ranger. The Citizen asks, "Isn't That Dangerous?" Charley replied, " I wouldn't carry the son of a bitch if it wasn't dangerous."
