Magpul BADASSNESS

Post by Suppressor Professor »

Check out these new Magpul Polymer Flip Up Sights. They retail for about $100 bucks and are so simple to use, even your granny could figure it out.

Awesome pics. Can't wait to get a few sets of those sights in. (or a couple of those flash suppressors for that matter!)

Good pics, what lens were you using?

Back to the topic, the MBUS are squared away sights, I've been using them for awhile now and I think Magpul is "underbilling" these like they did with the PMAG. I think these are going to hold up quite well, even when compared to their metal sidekicks.

When is that new mount coming out? I stopped by and RSilvers couldn't find any... I was devastated. I've been waiting for a solid brake to hit the market. :D

I've done work photography work with 45 or so manufacturers within the firearm community, my images have been used for catalogs, magazines, covers, etc. I have also shot work for the US Military. I am prior service and a full time LEO.

I now also shoot and write for Military Times. My primary focus will stay with weapons, accessories and related equipment reviews. Manufacturers can reach me through any of the boards. Have something new? Let me know.

When you push them back down onto the rail, is there some kind of catch or lever they trip or do you have to screw with that thumb (I guess) Latch?

You can see in this picture that they lock down.

They are even better than I thought they would be. I was afraid polymer sights may end up gimmicky (spl?), but they are totally badass! I will buy a lot of them for my guns when they are available. Good job.

Now if you would make MY signature sights...lazy ass.

What is with AAC's newfound love for the word "badass"? It appears like 157 times in the 09 catalog.

What's with your new found love affair with chasing every post AAC makes and saying something negative?

I like the word badass.

It's my catalog. If you don't like it, start your own company and use better words to describe your products.

Cheers!

I believe I've made a grand total of 3-5 posts about the price increase, and then this one. If you think a loyal customer's honest critique isn't worthwhile, then maybe you should get Kevin to stop making threads about "What do you want to see from AAC?"

Conqueror, you are 100% welcome to your opinion. As am I.

In my opinion, you make it quite clear your thoughts on the way we run our business, how we do our marketing, the way we design our products, the way our catalog looks, the way Kevin handles himself on the boards, the way Robert handles himself, the ins and outs of everything we do at AAC seem to rub you the wrong way. You have a comment about everything we do. You are a loyal customer, yet one that likes to be negative about "liking" our product. I don't get it.

Maybe I am just being sensitive and if so, I apologize. But, honestly, I don't think I am far off when I say that you seem to have a huge interest in the what/when/where/why/how of our company, and yet your "honest critiques" are increasingly sarcastic and negative with each post you make.

The beared guy that does the Magpul videos, I mean no offesnse, I simply don't know his name.

He was doing a demo at SHOT on how easy they opend and all that. It was a piece of cake to open and close with what seemed like incredible ease.

I look forweard to seeing them in person.

Suppressor Professor, are those XTM panels just painted?
Or a new color from Magpul?

Thanks
