That's interesting ... my trust is also a "W" and I got Shipman. Would that be because mine is for a silencer and yours is an SBR?

BTW, pending on May 8 ... still waiting patiently. :(
Are you sure you're basing your conclusions on correct data? Specifically, trusts are treated the same as a business entity when examiners are assigned. The "Walter Mitty Living Trust" would be assigned to the examiner for "W", the same way "Automatic Baby-killing Death Machines Inc." would be assigned to "A". This is opposed to John Smith making something on a Form 1, where the examiner would be the one for "S".
Yes, in my case anyway, the trust name starts with a "W".

I wonder what the average number of transfer requests made per month is.

When doing a transfer to a trust, will the examiner read the entire trust each time? They must be wanting the trust rather than just the declaration for a reason. It certainly increases the workload.

I went pending on 4/9. I would have had the suppressor this past Saturday 6/13 if I had not forgot to put my address on the second page... I should have it next week.

Snook, examiner.

I doubt the examiners are reading the trust documents. They are either having an attorney review them, which I doubt, or they are just keeping them on file.

I don't have my copy of the numbers here, but it's quite large. They'll break a million this year if they haven't already.

Mention has been made of a checklist for trusts. I don't know if that's still how they do it or if they all go through their legal office now. I doubt it's much of change in terms of time and effort versus processing an individual application from the examiner's perspective. Probably depends on whether the fingerprint check is the only background check that's done.

Fingerprint check? I thought trusts didn't need those.

I was referring to the processing of individual applications then, not trusts.

Been pending on a personal Form 1 since May 13. Last call advised awaiting fingerprint info from FBI.
What amount of a man is composed of his own collection of experiences... and the conclusions that those experiences have allowed him to "know" for certain as "Truth"? :Ick

That sucks... I have heard prints are taking forever. I like not dealing with that using the trust.

Yea, I was quite surprised the F4 was approved so quickly. It took YHM over 5 months just to get that suppressor to my dealer.
