smcharchan if no one steps up I can at least get you a ride to your hotel that night as I'm still not sure whether I'll be getting a hotel room or staying with a friend who's about an hour drive away.

I would suggest printing a pic of your avatar and clipping it on or attach it to your seminar badge, etc. That's what I'll do again.

So, is this going to happen this time? How 'bout it Robert? Cara also agreed we should do this for '09 at last year's shoot.

Simple. You make one winner the winner of one thing. If a person wins one thing they are done, any subsequent tickets pulled cannot win again.

If the weather and work will cooperate, I'm going to jump on my motorcycle and make the 640 mile ride up.

The guy bought a lot of tickets. I am glad he won a lot. I hope it encourages others to spend a lot on the WWP raffle. The money is going to a cause most of us really believe in. I do not want to discourage people from buying more tickets...it's a fund raiser after all.

The Holiday Inn is sold out so I called them and I'm getting a Suite at $85 a night for Thur-Sun with the AAC rate. Normal price is $129. I'll be able to provide a ride or two back to the hotels at 173 on Friday night for those that need it.

See you there.

The holiday inn is sold out - overbooked, actually.

Exit 173:
Best Western 706.356.4000
Holiday Inn 706.356.2100
Shoneys Inn 706.356.8848
Sleep Inn 706.356.2268

Toccoa, GA:
Days Inn 800.325.2525
Shoneys Inn 800.222.2222

Is one of the others above "popular" for folks attending the seminar?

Thanks guys!

OSL75- we ordered them up to 3X, you're good. But, if we have an extra, i think you should have to wear the cape too.

Banks Crossing has about 7 plus hotels and is about a 20 minute drive. Plus plenty of food places to eat and shopping for those of you that are married and bringing wives.

I should have rented out our lake house that is near the range for ammo. :D

SBR is still pending, I had such high hopes I would be one of those with the crazy fast approval...guess it will be the lowly 16 inch AR with M4-1000 can.

Skinny and the Whisper

Post by kdiver58 »

Look me up... I would like to talk to you about 300 whisper...
I'm bringing about 200 rounds of whisper and my cyclone. All 200 rounds will be sub sonic. 100 of 220 gr. SMK and 100 of 200 gr spitzer point.

I'll try and have a kdiver58 tag on me somewhere ..

I need to look paco up too ...

I'm bringing about 100 rounds of 223 , a brick of 22's and 200 rounds of 300 whisper .. If JN is there I need to see about getting one of his switching gas blocks for my whisper.

I'll have my Whisper too. I'll have just over 400 rounds of subsonic Hornady 208gr. The round is not accurate at all, no where near the SMK 240's.

So what you're saying is you need friends who want to hear your awesome setup to blow through 400 rounds so you can reload them with better bullets? I'm game :D

Best Western in Commerce doesn't have a special rate for the shoot, but worked with me on the price.
