STOLEN CLASS 3 STUFF

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Sorry to hear but I'm sure they're on their way to Mexico or Cuba by now.

You KNOW it's impossible for them to get this kind of stuff from anywhere but the U.S.

They don't need to go through all the work of breaking into a house to steal them. They just stroll into a gun shop and buy them with the grenade launchers and bazookas.
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

Sucks. Hate that feeling of violation. The fact they stole tools that, in the wrong hands, can end lives, makes it that much worse.

Hope these items, and the perps, are found quickly.

Not to be a buzz kill but I don't think criminals do this much any more.

I had a construction site/new home broke into and robbed. The thieves got away with 5-6k worth of power tools and equipment. When the police showed up I said I would check with the pawn shops for our tools. They informed me that usually the people trade the stolen goods for drugs.

Question? What does this mean?

I would suggest carrying a VPP rider on your policy. I have one specifically for my guns. Even covers if they are stolen at the range or from my car. My insurance company has a complete list of everything in the event it goes missing.

Again, that sucks, I hope you get them back.

Add My Regrets

Post by Historian »

Maybe our combined vehemence at the slimes that stole from you will lead to their being entertained with Bernzomatics and Tongs in thief hell.

Some folks I know have implanted tracking chips in their special weapons. They of course are lucky to have direct access to such specialized items but I surmise that a 'doggie' tracker chip variation could be adapted. Another thought is to remove the firing pins from each 'special' weapon prior to storage.

Again, heart felt condolences and hot pins-in-their-voodo_doll -groins.

Tell us when, I hope, you retrieve them.

Pretty much, I was trying to do my "liberal we need more gun control" impersonation but I don't think I'm very good at it.

From what I read they were in his home and they broke into his house to get them, not laying out on the sidewalk or some bench in a park.

For my nickel that's locked away and I don't see how a safe is relevant other than some kind of statistical data point. After all, nobody expects people to lock their alcohol and tobacco in a safe at night.

Tobacco and Alcohol is available at any gas station.

Not so much with NFA weapons and body armor.

A safe is much more of a deterrent to having your important s--t stolen, than having it sitting in the corner of a room in your house.

Obviously depending on the sophistication of the POS thieves.

I prefer a monitored home alarm system, heavy bolted to the floor fire proof safe, and booby trap counter measures.

But that's just me.

Sorry for your lose. I hope the POS bastards who stole your s--t are caught and punished accordingly.
