Recent wait times
What is current wait time for a form 1? Just got put in the mail this week. What are the chances of having it back by mid July?

Re: Recent wait times
I'm currently at 84 days. I've been pending since April 5. I'm hoping to get it in the next 10 days or so. . .

Rocker, was yours on a trust or individual application?
Re: Recent wait times
Entirely examiner-dependent.
I would not be sanguine, but one never knows.

I've had 2 pending since ~April 10, one was cashed end of Feb, the other the middle of March.

Re: Recent wait times
I mailed mine in back around the first of Feb and when I checked on it the 28th of Feb it was not even in their system. I called back on the 3rd of May and they said it was pending. I just said thank you didn't ask any of the smart questions as the person that I talked to could barely hear me (skype from overseas).

By letter of the maker's name. What that is for individuals and entities are determined differently.chingon wrote:How are examiners determined on Form 1's?
Re: Recent wait times
Other than calling to check the status, is there an online system like the ccl site? I am at 64 days since my check was cashed.

Re: Recent wait times
i operate controlled chaos arms as a type 07 manufacturer sot II and who ever is doing our paperwork has been pretty darn quick. i've been waiting a few weeks now for some can paperwork, but since late 09' my stuff has been handled by atf and returned in just a few weeks. i don't remember any taking longer than 15 working days... i'm diggin' it...

Re: Recent wait times
i must have something good going on at least part of the time...
i ordered the last dozen cans from YHM and under four weeks they shipped to me. they'll arrive tomorrow. in the meantime i've had three on order from thompson machine for 11 weeks. ...and they are still waiting on atf approval.
doesn't make sense. i was under the impression the atf worked on the paperwork that was incoming and seperated it out by alphabet... it must be via the alphabet of the manufacturer, not the alpha of the purchaser... otherwise why would i have the latest round of cans come in so quickly and those i ordered long prior from somebody else take so long?
hell of a note...
