Wow, 2 months and 2 days for a Form 4!!!!

Post by dcmdon »

I just got my M11/9 form 4 back in just a hint over 2 months. The logjam appears to be breaking up.

It all depends on who your examiner is.

Do Form 1's run any quicker? How do they determine which examiner on a Form 1?

My last one went pending with Snook, but was signed by Jones and Henson. Looks like there is a bunch of shuffling around.

Well...you are the lucky one. I have had a form 4 inbound firearm pending since Feb 5th. Last I checked...around May 24th--it was still pending. Going to give them a call tomorrow and see if that has changed! My recent experience has been about a 4-5 month time frame for inbound or outbound F4 transfers. F3's have been coming a bit faster...around 3 weeks average.

I've had one pending since 3/30 with snook. I had a form 1 sent in at same time approved 4/30. Guess no rhyme no reason.

83 days for me now. My last form 4 went way too fast ( was like 42 days) so I guess this is my payback.
