I weighed an H2 buffer - pretty sure it is a Colt. Mine was 130.5 grams, which is 4.6 oz.
HK 416 buffer was 132 grams or about 4.7 oz.

I am not sure why the CMTs are out of spec.

I have also seen variations in the 0.1 oz. range from buffer to buffer across the same manufacturer. Not a big deal IMHO.

The CMT H2 is 0.5 to 0.6 oz too light.

I have an H3 on the way. I thought I had one but cannot find it.

Some use a lesser grade of tungsten weight that is lighter that normal.

Lame. The funny thing is, Spike's Tactical is comparing their granular tungsten buffer to the weight of a CMT - even though the CMT is way out of spec.

The BCM H3 buffer I just got looks very nice. It is 160 grams (5.64 oz) - just as it should be.
