7.5in 556 SBR want to use as a .22 conve with YHM mite help?
7.5in 556 SBR want to use as a .22 conve with YHM mite help?
I have a 7.5in 556 SBR that functions great with a noveski flash supressor for increased back pressure. I have a YHM mite on the way and now want to run the upper as a supressed .22 SBR. I have a Stainless Steel CMMG .22 conv BCG with .22 reliability charging handle. Does any one have any experience with a similar setup? or suggestions on making this a reliable .22 supressed upper? Is it a problem that it is not a dedicated .22 upper?

You have a reliable 22lr right there.
I don't have any experience with the reliability c/h but I do with the CMMG kit, it works plain and simple. Because its not a dedicated upper(as in the gas port is plugged on the barrel), it will be slightly louder than if you blocked that hole. I have not experienced any issues with hole on the upper receiver playing anything into the equation.
As far as reliability I don't think there will be any issues with it at all. Its not a Ciener kit, just make sure you break her in good and hard to smooth any machining flaws in it.
I ran for years a 7.5" SBR barrel with a SWR Warlock, functioned great. Just don't take the gasblock off or it will sound like a ping pong ball gun!
Now I run a 3 inch barrel, a YHM Mite with my baffle stack in it and no gas hole, so its a dedicated 22lr upper. The difference is notable, though you won't be disappointed in the suppression beyon the YHM Mite quality.

Works for me various operating systems, web browsers even Unix. Not sure what your issue is with getting to their site.

Thanks B. I will be putting a few different types of ammo through it this week.
