You posted a similar video some time ago, this appears to be a slightly re-edited version of that.

It's neat to see the silencers, but I think the video itself is a little tedious, self-indulgent, over-edited, and over-produced. It's even got the classic YouTube dark and moody music with constipated lyrics. Personally I'd rather see something a little more coherent -- show a silencer, show it being used, show some manufacturing processes, show a different silencer, show it being used, etc. This video just seems flitty and unfocused and overwrought and basically masturbatory in nature. Thank you and good night.

I'm on Linux and couldn't get it to play with my normal player (xine backend) but it worked with mplayer.

Mac Player Version

Post by FCPtrainer »

HI Robert,
Is there a Mac version of this player? Can you upload a Quicktime or WMV version?

Thanks,
Kirk

PS- I found the VLC player and was able to watch it. Thanks!

Please post in a video format so we don't have to load yet another video player into our machines.

Get VLC and you shouldn't have to get anymore players.

I am sorry about the format. I did not make this video. It was given to me in this format. I asked for QT or WM9 and got this.

Thanks for the video.

Is it possible for someone with VLC to convert it to another format?

VLC on my Mac (G4 800MHz) won't play any more than the opening flame sequence before dropping frames and then subsequently showing corrupted video (unrecognizable). The audio track works fine.

I don't know how much of this is my relatively slow-ish computer or how much of it is just a super-high bitrate file?

Anyway I would love to watch it if someone could convert it into a more standard format, I would appreciate it.

Here's the video in an MPEG4 AVI. It's lossier than the original.

Stylistically the video still sucks, though.

Alternative to FLV player

Post by Johnson »

Guys you can also download swish and install only the codecs, this will allow you to watch .flv video files in Media Player or Zoom etc etc

install custom, then untick the middle box so you don't install the trial player.

I had some issues at first with my Macbook, but after I ran the upgrade on VLC it works great. (I have a feeling that my G4 800 might not have the balls to run it though.)
