The LMF II!! What a great knife! One of the toughest knives out there. Check how they beat the crap out of it on youtube.

Thanks that's exactly what I was going for. The photo is actually for my advanced studio lighting class, which gave me an excuse to buy this knife and convince myself "it was for school" I've got another photo shoot tomorrow morning involving some AAC suppressors.MisterWilson wrote:Nice pic. Here's a little preview of something I think only a few people on this forum have seen.

lol no, nothing that cool. Just regular G10, the first batch will be of O1 and then I'll be switching to an air quench stainless steel for the next batch, but I haven't decided which one yet.Ctaylor wrote:Is that laminate carbon fiber?!?st33ve0 wrote:Here's a little preview of something I think only a few people on this forum have seen.

The production knives out of steel will be pretty similar except the fuller will have a chamferred edge and a bit of flat space to reduce stress and the chance of warping from heat treat. I may adjust the tip geometry a bit to make them stronger too, but it will be pretty close to that shape.

Here's a few of my Microtech's. I'm a bit of a fan of the Marfione's (Jr. & Sr.) work.

What would it take to get one out of that micarta! That's pretty slick, and would be a cool conversation piece.st33ve0 wrote:Here's a little preview of something I think only a few people on this forum have seen.

I may make a few "letter openers" once I've got the fixture locked down.JohnnyC wrote:What would it take to get one out of that micarta! That's pretty slick, and would be a cool conversation piece.st33ve0 wrote:Here's a little preview of something I think only a few people on this forum have seen.

Ryan has a Damascus Bowie that he's going to make on the mill first and then we'll have a better idea of what feeds and speeds to use for my knives. I'm basically having to find spare personal time to make them and learning how to use the new Haas so that's why it's taking a while. Shouldn't be too terrible long now though...granted RMJ is cranking out three new prototypes right now...

Nice collection you have there PostalGlock'n.
My wife is trying to talk me into going to a gun show that's coming right down my road in two weeks, I didn't want to go because they are always crowded and I hobble around with a cane, I figure I might trip myself up or someone else, you know how crowded they usually are, but the more I think of it I see a Lever-Letto in my future or another Frank B. swing guard with a flat button.
