Integral 10/22

Post by cocoboots »

Any info on your new 10/22 integral? what suppression levels are you getting? sub 115 dB? cost of a complete rifle or barrel? I only own AAC cans now, but I'm looking at a competitors integral for a birthday gift to myself this month. I want to know if it would be worth the wait for your integral.

come on Jason, spill the beans and post few more pics please :D

IMHO, they wil be more than worth the wait.

All stainless, super quiet, works with all ammo. Quarter 2 2011 is the latest release date I've heard. Yes, we are doing the MkIII as well.

Any options on buying just the Silenced Barrel and not the complete weapon?

Yes.

Probably complete first, but also standalone barrels are planned.

Jason, have you thought about moonlighting as an AAC salesman? I'm going to wait and pick up one of these barrels when they come out. Thanks for the photos and info; I appreciate it.

How heavy is the barrel? I really like the hammer forged barrel on my Target 10/22 and the heft is kinda nice which is why I haven't wanted a TacSol barrel.

Great; I was wondering what I was going to buy in Q2. Is the trigger stock, or will any refining work be done or after market options be available?

Hopefully AAC will do this right and take care of the little things like a plastic buffer and good trigger. Can't wait for mine!

Any hint as to what the MSRP will be for just the barrel?

What is the logic behind the three gas ports as opposed to one?
Does this multiple port design ensure that ammunition of any type be slowed to subsonic velocities?

My understanding is that the port location and size is critical to insure that all rounds exit the muzzle at sub sonic velocities.
With that in mind, it was explained to me that a well placed single port of the appropriate diameter is the best approach.

I really like the design of this integral.
It looks like it would also clean up very easily.

I really like this design.
I'm wondering what would happen if the baffle stack had port/ports leading back to the second chamber. Would that cause and increase in FRP?

Who's going to build the first Form 1 can with a similar setup? :)

By the time the gas gets to the stack, it's not very hi pressure and fairly little would make it back to the second chamber... that's why there's that port into it where it starts..

Is there an o-ring missing from the groove at the rear of the barrel?
Is that a 1" tube?

Have any more pics you can share?

.875" tube so it will fit standard bull barrel stocks.

Only interested in the standalone here. Pre-ban 10/22 it's gotta go on and all. Wot-wah!
