Breakdown on wait time for trust transfer....

Post by eseaton »

Ordered from the Major 6-10-2010
He contacted them after extended wait and was informed they needed form 3 re-faxed as they could not find it.
Re-faxed on 8-19-2010
Pending as of 11-23-2010
Called BATF on 2-2-2011 and informed still pending.
Received call from dealer saying paperwork arrived today. ( I have always received paperwork at my home address in past so I found it strange it went to dealer first. Any comment on that?

So from first pending, it was 78 days or 11 weeks and 1 day.
From original money order to Major Malfunction until now was 148 days or 21 weeks and 1 day.

This is the longest I have ever waited and some waits have been very short. Just goes to show that the process is hard to predict.

The paperwork should always go to your dealer unless its a form 1.

You are right. Now that you mention it, the last three stamps were builds I did so that does make sense.

Thanks

I have been waiting for my F4 for 14 weeks. Very cold and more than 24" snow, but still
would like to have it.
