Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Here's an x-ray of quite a few suppressors. Somewhere on the web someone matched up the numbers with models, but my google-fu fails me at the moment. Here's what I can identify just visually:
9.AAC M-2000
11.AAC Ranger 2(?)
13.KAC Nt4

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Next up is the HTG Eureka 3 Compact .223 Suppressor.
Baffle stack next to the suppressor tube.
Blast baffle side view.
Blast baffle angle view.
Baffle side view.
Baffle angle view.
Underside of the baffle.
There is a lot of wasted interior space, and this can is built like a tank!
Dimensions are available if requested(please be specific on the dimensions requested, I have already been asked for all measurements "for informational purposes", don't have that kind of time and don't want to reverse engineer anything, hope you undestand).

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Next up is the Advanced Armament Evo CQB-9 9mm suppressor.
When I bought this can I was told by the dealer (members on this website) that it was a military demo can that the military never fired. They told me they fired 2x 15 round mags and that was it. So supposedly this damage is from 30 rounds. At this rate the can won't last 1000 rounds. Even non-anodized aluminum baffles don't wear that fast. My BS flag is flying high! I will never do business with them again. I have not even fired this can. ((end rant))
First up is baffle stack next to the suppressor tube.
All the baffles were the same except the 'blast baffle' has a Dater hole in it.
Side view of AAC K baffle.
Baffle angle view.
Baffle top view.
Blast Baffle bottom view. Notice the Dater hole.
Baffle stack next to the suppressor tube in the order they came out of the can, left to right. Notice the amount of damage to the blast baffle.
The baffles do not have any indexing feature built in to them, they were just stacked and sealed in the can.

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Up next from me is the HTG Universal2 .22lr/.223 suppressor
First pic is of the spacer at the top of the stack(closest to the muzzle).
Next is the blast baffle.
Next are the next 2 baffles in the stack.
Last baffle.
Underside of the baffles.
Left to right of how they are arranged in the suppressor tube.
As the stack looks before stuffed into the suppressor tube.
Enjoy, still have more to post as I have time.

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
oh rlry? there is a small difference but very similar.singtoe wrote:Not to be critical, but they don't look anything like an Element Baffle. The size, the shape, the materials are all different. The new idea behind these baffles is that the outer cone is a smaller diameter then the face of the k baffle. When they stack up on one another, they fit inside a recessed area on the face of the cone, thus giving more internal volume.delta9mda wrote:that is what i was thinking when i saw the element baffles "why not scale them up"?LavaRed wrote:I knew it was a development of the Element baffle!
look for gem-tech and everyone else to clone these now.
Improvements to this design - Notch the groove on the flat side of the baffle like little fingers (just enough material to keep the adjoining baffle from moving) and that should increase more volume and make it that much lighter.
Bendersquirt - How did you get these pictures? I have a Ti-rant, but i have not taken it apart yet and i'm just wondering how you went about doing it.

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
Wasn't happy with the pics I had and I got distracted and forgot to retake them, apologies guys!
Ok here is the next batch.
Gemtech Viper9 MAC11 SMG can.
First view is the top of the first baffle. It is not the blast baffle as the blast baffle is attached to the ACME thread part of the mount that we could remove without destroying the can. All the other baffles in the stack were the same only minus the small circle milled in the side.
Next is the underside of the baffle. They are just simple M baffles!
Final picture of this series is the locking mount, baffle stack and the tube.
Can sounds to the ear on par with the SWR Trident9. Not sure how the meter compares though. All the baffles that would come out were made of non-anodized aluminum. We tested the hardness and they tested as raw aluminum, thinking I might have them anodized......hmm what color to make them?

Re: Supressor Baffle Pics!
From a build many, many years ago. I wanted to try something really different, and I had high hopes for this stack. Many of you have probably seen it on bARF.COM.
The stack starts life as a series of square blocks with rounded corners, cinched together with threaded drill rod, and proceeds as shown:
Yes it works... when the bullet path is reversed from what I had planned!
