Saw this over on SSD:

So, any better pictures? Info?
Is this a proof of concept like the 3-stamp, $3K bolt rifle? Or something that will happen?

Oh dear god I hope it happens. I have a feeling there may be only a few of these around, so unless Jason whips something up while he's at AUSA I think we'll have to wait till they get back. When they do get back, they have my number! ;) (seriously though, I actually have an awesome idea for an ad involving this)

Wait if i'm reading those photos right, the upper actually encapsulates the barrel and extends into the handguard?!!

Nope. regular upper/barrel mating.

You are seeing other stuff. :)

There is also a longer handguard that goes right to the end of the can and ends in a handstop, and makes it sort of an integral.

Ok I think I figured it out. It's something that allows you to swap out the handguards without disassembling the upper?

Probably a quick disconnect for the entire handguard so you can run a ratchet-mounted can under it!
