Oh dear god I hope it happens. I have a feeling there may be only a few of these around, so unless Jason whips something up while he's at AUSA I think we'll have to wait till they get back. When they do get back, they have my number!

Nope. regular upper/barrel mating.

You are seeing other stuff.

There is also a longer handguard that goes right to the end of the can and ends in a handstop, and makes it sort of an integral.

Ok I think I figured it out. It's something that allows you to swap out the handguards without disassembling the upper?

Probably a quick disconnect for the entire handguard so you can run a ratchet-mounted can under it!
