looking to thread a savage model 10 .308 and attach 5/8 x 24 tpi AAC brake. can anyone recommend a gunsmith besides tornado? I've read only good things about the work from tornado technologies, but they have a lengthy wait time now and I'm keen to see if I can get this done without having to give up the rifle for a few months (or longer).
thanks,
jared

+1 for Adco. Everything I have sent them hasn't taken longer than a week.
Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end......

sorted. will take it to http://www.deltacompanyarms.com/. thx for all suggestions - Kramer, not sure if I have the cojones to send my rifle over to gemtech and ask them to install my AAC brake , but have to admit the idea gave me a chuckle on an otherwise crappy day.

ADCO took 21 days, including shipping both ways and did really nice work.

Delta Company Arms or Liberty Suppressors. I've used both and they are top notch.

Re: alternative to tornado for barrel threading?
usmachinegun.com just did my keltec sub 2k barrel. Looks like they specialize in doing the keltecs, so if you have an SU16 or sub rifle, send it to them. Im posting pics soon of my rebuilt sub 2k after i get my quad rail on it.
