if someone wants to buy all 30 could you cut them a good deal?KevinB wrote:As I keep mentioning, Block III will only happen if we sell the rest of the Block II's - about 30 left IIRC.
It took III and several of us a long time to get SBR approval, and if we can't move the II's, it will end.

Re: Block III SBR
How compatible would a Block III (or a "costa") be with various cans on the market? Does the 11.5" barrel plus URX leave room to mount something like an AAC M4-2000 or similar?

Re: Block III SBR
I've built 11.5" barrel/mid URX uppers using KAC mounts, M4 2K mounts, and SF mounts. You have to shim the SF brake a little for it to work, but not much. GemTech Halo or G5 won't work.

Re: Block III SBR
I've seen pictures of a... pushed, for lack of a better term, SF mount that moves the attachment forward just slightly, but I'm not sure if that would be sufficient or not.

Rob- it'll work with AAC, KAC and SF. Might need a few extra shims with a muzzle brake.rob_s wrote:I've seen pictures of a... pushed, for lack of a better term, SF mount that moves the attachment forward just slightly, but I'm not sure if that would be sufficient or not.

Re: Block III SBR
Any updates? As much as Id like to buy a Block II to help get the ball rolling on the block III's, Ive still got a Cabelas card and a Star card to pay down.
Re: Block III SBR
I did my part to get you guys closer the the Block III's and sent the form in on my Block II...I already have a "costa" build but, I would have loved to have used a E3 bolt and barrel..

Just think, you should have them in 5 months and one week
Re: Block III SBR
Finally got around to getting my special run LW URX installed since it looks like I won't be ab;e to get in on the last XMas cheer item since I wasn't an OG (even though I have every single item offered)..It's on my SR15 registered lower for now but, I will more than likely use my Block II lower once the stamp comes in cause it actually says KAC SBR on it. It will be my Block 3.5 version..

Do we have any idea how many more block II's need to be sold before we can order the block III?

I believe the only safe answer is "all of them."WillyB70 wrote:Do we have any idea how many more block II's need to be sold before we can order the block III?
Block IIs exist. Block IIIs do not -- and will not, so long as there are Block IIs in stock.

Re: Block III SBR
I would be happy for just uppers as well as complete rifles.
I bought 2 Block 1's to help the process out

Re: Block III SBR
Me too. I probably can't justify buying another complete rifle, but I'd definately be interested in a Block III upper.MichaelVain wrote:I would be happy for just uppers as well as complete rifles.
