Mitt Romney: The Last Republican President?
Romney's not a Republican. He's just dressed as one.
Also. I won't vote for Romney.

Stole my comment. I would also add with obama you know what your getting. With Mitt you getting a crap shoot and one rigged way left to boot. Just look at what he has done to Mass Romney care and the firearms laws are just outright stupid.Libertarian_Geek wrote:Mitt Romney: The Last Republican President?

Vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.sha-ul wrote:If Romney is the R nominee, what other options do we have?PTK wrote:F--k you, Steve.Steve McCann wrote:The conservatives and libertarians will vote for Romney in November, but only because he is not Barack Obama.

If/when that doesn't work, vote for the Libertarian in the election.
I realize it's going to suck balls when Obama gets re-elected. But apparently, we have to play chicken w/ the GOP for them to get a clue and give us someone worth a s--t.

Bingo. DO NOT vote for the lesser of two evils unless you would like to lend support to evil. That should be intuitively obvious.
I refuse to vote for that complete scumbag Romney. Period. I may have to write in Ron Paul. That's fine, but I believe he'll be on the ballot in MT without an issue.

I've noticed FAR too many people thinking of defeat already. I try to make sure that the troops keep high morale, so to speak.
Not only that, has anyone LOOKED how upset people are about Obama? I will be very, very shocked if he gets a second term through legitimate means. I wouldn't be as surprised if there were suddenly a national emergency and elections were indefinitely put on hold, however.

If Ron Paul gets the nomination, I predict many disenchanted prior Obama voters crossing over.

Of course that is what would happen.Libertarian_Geek wrote:If Ron Paul gets the nomination, I predict many disenchanted prior Obama voters crossing over.
How is it that the Republican base doesn't see that - for the things that matter most at this point in our history - Romney and Obama are one in the same? If the Republicans want someone who will defeat the incumbent they have to nominate someone who is actually different than him.
Personally, I would love to see Paul (R) call Obama (D) a warmonger... then watch people's heads explode.
Re: Mitt Romney: The Last Republican President?
I just passed your suggestion along. Paul and his staff seem to actually read comments and listen to the base they're representing. I suggest you send them a line, too. It would be rather amusing, indeed. "I don't want US troops holding foreign soil. You, Mr. President, are a warmonger, catering to the military-industrial complex!"
Obama would just.... his teleprompters would explode, at least.

Thanks for passing it on PTK.
It is refreshing to see R.P. shaking up the system as much as he is.
Too bad he isn't as effective when debating as he is expressing himself in written word. He nailed it the other day though:
