I believe it does. The courts have already ruled that police cannot run up and down a street with heat vision equipment to see if people have heat lamps (hydroponic equipment) set up in their homes. This is not much different in my book. You cannot look into a persons home, or under their cloths without probable cause - no matter HOW you do it.

We will face these type of questions at an increasing rate as technology continues to progress faster and faster.

When I read about the court case regarding a search that ensued after a drug sniffing dog "indicated" while the officer was on someones porch a few weeks back I started thinking about cops wearing all kinds of sensors on their uniform for drugs, gunpowder and even adrenaline.

Fortunately the pending economic collapse will prevent the funding of such things for at least a little while. :D
