My WWII MKII

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Please pardon my ignorance Emilio
What is the other piece with the 550 cord on it? Is it a plate that fitts under the grips and allows a retention lanyard to be attached ?

It is a bullet removal tool for after you take out the bg..

Thanks Emilio. I have never seen a lanyard for the MkIIs, only para cord and 100 mile an hour tape rigs

You stick a dime in for moderate suppression, but when you really need to be quiet, you shoehorn a quarter in there.

Emilio,

I promised pics when I finished mine. A Buck Rogers Tactical. I just finished re-finishing it.

SS MKIII Standard profile
3.5" barrel
Spectre II/ Sparrow thread specs
Media blasted matte finish
V- speed eject
V- trigger and sear
FCG modified back to MKII specs
Fixed rear sight modified to low profile
Front sight removed and Hi-Viz sight added
Texture removed from blk grips and finished matte

Image
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

Starblast medium, 80 psi

BTW, This was completely disassembled, masked and finished. If you do this, putting the mainspring housing (plunger, spring, ball bearing, lever) together again was a PAIN IN THE ASS! :)
