AAC and Magpul items auction.
I am running in the Boston Marathon and I am planning to raise at least $4000 for helping kids with cancer.
I found a good charity: http://www.copsforkidswithcancer.org/
One way you can help me as well as people in need is to give money to this charity. To do it, they accept money by PayPal - please go to this link:
http://www.copsforkidswithcancer.org/html/support.htm
There is a field to put in a description - please put in "rsilvers Boston Marathon sponsor"

Fantastic! Congratulations for taking your training this far and doing something for others. I will kick in a few bucks.

Re: Please help me raise money for Cops for Kids with Cancer
Thank you.
I really was not sure I could do it until last Saturday when I ran the 20.78 miles and then was not sore that day, or the next day.
Just last year when I started running 5 miles my legs were surging with shin splints, knee pain, and soreness. You can get by those things - the trick is to not give up.

Have you ever seen the videos of Eddie Izzard just running long distances with zero training? Pretty amazing what he managed.

Yes, just post bids in the thread. If you win, you will make out the check directly to the charity.
The auction will end no later than 6 weeks from now, but if the bids are strong I will probably end it early. The reason why I want to give six weeks is in case the bids are not strong I need time to be able to get some media to cover it. I actually don't think anyone is going to get these cheap - they will probably sell for retail or above - but you can feel good about where the money is going.
I can't give delivery dates on the items - they are currently backordered, but I will put in a good effort to get them through production.

I will probably move the stocks to eBay as the bids are lower than this stuff normally sells for.
