Any Dealers offer Layaway on Suppressors?

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Any Dealers offer Layaway on suppressors?
Looking to put a few on layaway and hack at them as the OT comes in.

Does anyone know of a place that does 90 days on C3 stuff?

Ignore all the naysaying pontificators, pay attention to the fireman and search for the facts yourself.

For example

http://www.bluboyrelics.com/steel_blueb ... sl_007.htm

Some places specify no layaway on machinge guns and/or silencers and/or AOWs but if I were you I'd just get a list of stocking dealers in your area and call them.

Same here, however that is for in stock cans only. If they have to order one, you will need to pay in full before the can is ordered.....

Guess I don't see the point in layaway since no dealer in his right mind is going to file forms until paid off.

I believe that's pretty much the way it works no matter what you put on layaway but I'm no layaway expert.

Whether it's a suit or a TV or a toy for your kid's Christmas or some other durable good it's not yours until the layaway is paid off. Either layaway makes sense as a payment plan or it doesn't I don't see why it particularly matters if it's a suppressor that gets put on layaway.

Now, if you said "I don't see the point of putting a tuna fish sandwich on layaway." I could probably see your point.

Best best is to call around to all the dealers in your area.

Down around me there are a few who will do layaway, though most won't.

Nick Hope is a great guy and builds top notch products. Just ordered my second suppressor from him. Payment at time of delivery seems to work well for him.

My dealer in Canton, GA. His layaway rules are 90 days to pay. Forms are sent off and while you pending, you have 90 days to pay, if you fail to pay the full amount by 90 days, dealer calls up to NFA and cancels the form.

Why not just use a credit card to pay ? On the other hand if you have good terms with your dealer you can always ask for something to work around with.

great topic.

this was something I hadn't even considered.

But, I like having the merchandice paid for before the dealer starts paperwork. That way if (mircle happens) the paperwork gets approved early... the can is mine when I pick it up. No waiting for final payment, or waiting for payday to come around.

What works for me is a "hunting account" that I put funds in every payday.. until I get the urge to spend it.
Those twitches get expensive sometimes!!!

If you can afford it in 90 days from now, that means you could have saved up the money starting 90 days previous from now, you did not do that, so that means you can not afford it.
