Completed my first form 1 (now with videos)

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

Well done sir ! You should be very proud of your work.I love the end caps and your machine work is crisp, can't wait for the range report.
The only reason after 243 years the government now wants to disarm you is they intend to do something you would shoot them for!

Very nice!

Are the 303 parts that bright in person or does the photo lighting make them look whiter/brighter? Reason I ask is my 303 doesn't have that same bright color - it looks a little grayer - closer to the coloring of CRS than aluminum after machining.

I like your endcaps a lot too.

Thanks for the kind words gents!

They actually are quite bright. I take a really light skim pass and then use aluminum oxide "scotch bright" to make them shine

Looks good. It definitely won't be going anywhere for a long long time.

Any reason why you made the blast baffle with that additional spacer and not just one unit?

I made the blast baffle then realized my tolerances stacked up a little different than my drawings because I made some changes on the fly. Subsequently i made the spacer :D

Excellent work....what is your plan for a finish? You will need sunglasses with that thing outside the way it is. 8)

The nice thing about a bead blasted finish is once it shows use, throw it back in the blast cabinet and its good as new.
How bout a pic of the inside of the mount? Nice job by the way!

What is your over all length, length of baffles and tube OD?
Also, why is the one baffle so different? (Sorry, kind of a newbie)
Looks awesome!!! Can we take a peek at some of your drawings?

Stunned by the quality, machining, presentation, and being able to
'not hear' the final results. And a pat on the back for the good Capt.
again showing his generosity of spirit.
