Happy New Year!

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Happy New Year from Maine.

Started the new year with a suppressed 30rd mag dump.

We had some guys unloading some AR's or something for a couple mags. Same guys that do it on 4th of July. Guess fireworks are too expensive?

The most healthiest and wonderful of New Years to all my brethren
here from a son of South Boston where from among so many contributions
to America of relevance today are the L-Street South Boston Brownies.

Starting in 1901 on New Years Day a group of hardy (nutty?) Gaelic
gentlemen started the tradition of leaping into frigid Dorchester Bay to mark the New Year,
most assuredly with Irish Mist anti-freeze coursing through their veins.

Each New Year's Day I would, bundled multi-layered, shivering, walk across the street
to the L Street Bath House with my neighbors to marvel at the the gallant souls, even
when there were ice sheets there, leaping in and hooting, swimming for a few minutes and then
coming out dripping. At this moment, just remembering causes my metabolism to speed up to
compensate for the shivers that I still remembering getting all those years so long ago, especially
in the 1950's when the outside temperature was around 18 dgrees.

I know that the decedents of those tough folks still plunge into Coronado waves with flippers,
though with much less pain. Our gratitude, admiration and affection for their warrior bravery, especially today
from an antiquated L-Street Brownie manqué .

God Bless all our troops ... and America.
