I notice they are pushing the G17 against the dowel with the thumb. You could imagine what would happen if the thumb slipped up the web radius. Bye bye tip of thumb. ;( ouch
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

No, I was thinking about the slide traveling from the furthest rear position back into battery and catching the tip of the thump between the underside of the striker plate and the top of the frame.
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.
