Night Sights

Post by SRM »

I can not find a source other than Tooltech Gunsight for sights on a MkII. I have not called them yet.

For a pistol thats been around for 65 years and the history of it, I can't belive there is not such an option.

Anyone have any options other than custom? They must be tritium.

There isn't much of a market for night sight equipped 22lr's.

Thats why you rarely see them.

I've seen red dots and lasers on Mk pistols but never night sights.

Yes, the make your own route is always an option.

There are guys who buy tritium vials in bulk and sell them off in little ziplocks. If you want free tritium vials that's the way to go but you need to be the kind of person who is willing to deal with hundreds of tiny individual orders and all the headache of customer service.

Candle power has been the goto place for a long time for small purchases.

You know I've been looking too. If you make a set for the MKII, put me down for some. Low profile/non-snag as possible.
If it doesn't splatter, shatter, burst or explode, it's not worth shooting.

The factory sights on a bull barrel allow you to mount a 1 1/2" can without obstruction. The Kensight is a little taller. must keep lookin....

AWC will sell the sets of night sights they use on their Amphibian integral Mk-series Rugers. It's Bar-Dot style, not Three-Dot style, though. You get a replacement front sight and a rear sight replacement BLADE. Take out the blade from your adjustable rear sight and install this one.
