I'm praying that my dealer is on of the luck distributors to get in on the first batch. I'm the first person on his waiting list.

Hmmm, maybe get on of these around August then look for a suitable host come Christmas.

I talked to my dealer, and he place orders for these in January. He is still waiting for his Form 3 paperwork to be completed, but I believe these cans are ready to ship as soon as paperwork is done.

Are the baffles made from the same alloy that is in the Saker? Do you all have plans to update the 556 specwar with the same material?

Also, are these shipping soon or will it be a year from now before they actually start to hit dealer shelves?

Both the Specwar 762 and 556's baffles are now made from the same alloy as the Saker. We have already started shipping the Specwar 762 to wholesalers, so dealers should start to see them soon.

Are you able to tell me of any dealers that are local to me that are receiving shipments? My preferred guy doesn't have any.

We sell through wholesalers, It's pretty much impossible for us to know dealer inventory levels or allocations. They should start showing up at dealers more and more. The sooner your order is placed the sooner you will get your can.

Do you know what serial number the changeover occurred for the 556? I just got one, hopefully its got the better baffles.

There isn't really a serial cut off as we had to jump around on the serials a bit during production.

Yes, the Specwar 7.62 is magnum rated. It will handle 300 Remington Ultra Mag, .30-06 won't be a problem.

I saw the comparison to the aac sd-n6, have you compared it to the new surefire 762RC yet? What was the sound difference?

We have not had a chance to do any testing with the 762RC yet. If we do, we will publish our findings on our blog at www.swrsuppressors.com/blog.

I'm looking for a good suppressor that will handle the muzzle blast from a LWRC 8.5" UCIW 6.8. I was planning on using the 762-SDN-6 since it has inconel baffles and it would be overbored to minimize back pressure and minimize the probability of baffle strikes. Feedback from LWRC after some field testing of the UCIW with the N-6 was that the N-6 blast baffle was failing at very low round counts with some of the new 6.8 rounds.

I'm now looking at the SpecWar 762 for the UCIW application based on the videos and information that I have read so far. What are your thoughts on this application?

This would be for my demo gun and also for several of my customers.

What are the mounting options for this. I was thinking of putting one on a Mosin Nagant at some point and don't exactly want a gangly flash hider on it...

The Specwar uses our QD ASR mounting system and comes with the flash hider needed to mount to the appropriate caliber. 1/2x28 for the 5.56 and 5/8x24 for the 7.62 model. The flash hider is a required part of the mounting assembly.
