Ruger 22/45 Scope Mount

Post by BallisticExpansion »

I recently picked up a NIB 22/45 mark iii standard model. It came with fixed sights and is also tapped for the picatinny rail mount. However, the mount was not included. Was it left out or must I buy it separately? If so where can I purchase one?

Try googling "scope rail 22/45" ... I found about 15 places to buy one.

Should've come with the rail, mine did years ago, unless they are cutting back on costs

I lost mine at the moment  don't want to buy one though, they are like $20 and I am a cheapass...so I will find it here eventually.

Was it really NIB ... from a actual dealer?

Or did you buy it in an individual to individual sale from some guy who advertised it as "NIB" but not really?

My 22/45 was nib from a retail location and there was no scope mount. So I ordered one from amazon and it was like 15-20 bucks.

Yep. Bought it from a dealer. Factory cardboard box and all. Everything sealed.

I am going to contact ruger and give them my serial #. I am sure they would be happy to send me one.
