WRONG INFO HERE ... READ NEXT POST ...

Get the papers, find out why, fix the problem, overnight it back to them (assuming it can be fixed) and overnight it back to them. You will lose very little time on your approval.

I *think* you have to ask for the money back, I don't think it comes back automatically like the rejected form.

Can't correct e-forms.

You're SOL if something is incorrect; I submitted the wrong draft for an e-form can and it was disapproved. I had the wrong info in 3a and 3b, and it was kicked back. F1 with CORRECT info in 3a and 3b that was submitted same day went through fine.

I have been told that the refund should post to the credit card within 10 days; haven't seen mine yet, though.

That kinda sucks. Didn't know and thanks for the tutelage.

The only form screw-up I've had so far was omission of LLC documents. I was planning on eForm for next submission, it's good to know it's worth the effort to check it over several times before submission.

I put "MULTI" In the Caliber in Box 4C

Yankee Hill Lowers come marked "MULTI" - and the eForm had a drop down option for MULTI when I submitted it.

So, do I overnight the denied eForms (she sent PDF in the email as an attachment) with corrected paper Form 1s, or do I just start the whole process over?

Previously: I've forgotten 2 copies of Form1s, and re-submitted, and then on my re-submision I noticed caliber issues (I put 556 on a 12ga shotgun, so I corrected it, and decided to put multi- on the 556 form 1, and that was kicked back. I re-submitted it and all was fine.

So, I KNEW that MULTI was not correct, but on the eForm I just submitted - that was on the drop down box, and was and is what is stamped on the YHM Lower...so I chose that.

It has been known that you can't have MULTI as a specified caliber for an SBR for almost 5 years now.

The problem is that Title1 marking requirements for caliber are different than Title2 marking requirements for caliber.

Most barrels are engraved with the caliber info so it wouldn't have needed to be engraved.

If it was DENIED/DISAPPROVED then it requires a new submission.

If it was an ERROR LETTER then you can correct it and return and be approved soon.

Yes, I know, but it was in the dang DROP DOWN BOX! and it is already marked MULTI ...

DISAPPROVED. I don't think there is a way to get an ERROR LETTER from an eForm. I talked to my friendly SOT/2 and he told me to re-submit...

Should I wait for eForms to return,

or

go ahead and send in new Form1s (w/ the DISAPPROVED Form1s)...

The REASON given included, "Please Resubmit putting only one caliber in Block 4C..."

You could never resubmit an eForm, right?

You can't resubmit the EForms......the system is down even if you were able to.

Should I wait until it returns (in the hope that it will be quicker), or move on....that's the main Q. My friend Form4ed a suppressor/trust 3 days before I did the Form1 and he got his eForm approved in 10-1/2 weeks...

Too bad mine didn't get kicked out for 6 mos...

Thing to consider is that the Efile may never come back for individuals to use.

The entire time you are waiting for the system to com back on line you could be that much closer to having a paper one approved.

I would say submit by paper NOW. In about 4 months if the Efile comes back then cancel and resubmit via Efile, no time lost.

^^^This^^^

Paper times are actually going down, so you've got nothing to lose.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

No "multi" on SBR?
I wonder what encore and contender owners do?
Pick a caliber?

Not poking at anyone, but these are the type of things that examimers are paid to look for... and a reason why our transfers take so long.

It is what it is.

Use the View Forms to look at the actual Form 1 before you submit it and you should be able to fix any problems before it gets sent. :D

The problem is that "MULTI" is in the Drop down box in the Form 1, so it's not an "error" per se. MULTI is what is printed on the side of YHM lowers (some at least, the ones I have).

I re-submitted paper copies; alas, form 1s are back online as I await my new 9mos...

MULTI is a valid TITLE1 caliber.

For TITLE2 a specific caliber must be registered.

I was told by the BATFE that the MULTI in the dropdown is because it carries over from the TITLE1 side of the house.
