Is e-file taking Form 4 submissions?
I have an item waiting at the dealer and they want to know whether I want to start the paper process now or wait until e-file starts accepting Form 4's again. I didn't know they ever stopped? Any suggestions here?

No one has any idea as to when e-file might be back up and running.
FYI just in case you are not aware but Form 4's via e-file are only for Corps, Trust's not individuals.

Mail it in.

Hurry up and mail it. At least the paper process will continue to improve (hopefully) with all the resource shifts and new hires.

Form 6 only
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Gossip locally has it all trusts after July will need LE sign off, finger print cards. More BS paperwork.

That addition to the regulatory code could open up a can of worms. The law passed by Congress specifically singles out individuals for the LEO sign off, finger print cards, etc. By doing that, it may imply that the intention was to not regulate trusts, corporations, etc., in the same manner. In these situations, I am pretty sure that the laws passed by Congress control over regulations promulgated by a designated agency like the ATF.
More plainly put, Congress says "We just passed this law. It's kind of broad but it spells out what we want. Hey ATF - work out the details for us." This is fine, but the ATF cannot overstep what Congress writes in the first place. This addition may overstep what Congress initially wrote.
I guess we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

My Paper form 4 no trust just came back 3 1/2 months earlier than what I was told when I called after seeing check cashed last October.
