I picked up a few NOE molds

311365 198 grain
311 247 grain FN
Crayola of death

And an ACE 230 grain


Just wobdering if there are any other molds out there that people like.

I tried a few older Lyman/Ideal moulds designed for the .30/40 Krag, .30-'06, etc. most had a large, round nose and feeding was iffy in an AR. I bought one of the Lee/AAC tumble lube molds and it has shot very well in my AR and Stevens bolt gun. I believe it's designed to replicate the 220 gr Sierra. Match King.

I have a 5 cavity NOE 247 grain mould with one HP cavity. Love it. Run it at the right temp and it makes a PILE o' good boolits

Have the NOE version of the Ed Harris 155 grain SP he designed for the SKS/AK47
NEI and LEE also have a version of it.

Am tempted to buy
Lee's TL309-230-5R - the boat tail is sized so you can crimp on a gas check
