Suppressor Baffle Pics ONLY!

Yes, it can be legal to make a silencer. For everything Form-1, from silencer designs that are easily made, to filing forms with the BATF, to 3D modeling. Remember, you must have an approved BATF Form-1 to make a silencer. All NFA laws apply.

This is one of my favorite threads.
I am amazed how it gets lost and overlooked only to be reborn.

Pictures from these parts as on display during IWA 2012
556 silencer had a QD mount - 3 lug style.
Larger cans where direct thread and over barrel design.
Endcaps looked like combat helo rocket pods.

Too bad we can't have stickies.
Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you got 'til it's gone?

Only reason is because the admin/mode doesn't want to make it a sticky.

I love how the blast chamber leads to 2 series of choked 1way valves. THen, enters an expanding coaxial expansion chamber creating turbulance and restricting backflow.
I DO ? the holes allowing the coaxial to exhaust into into the normalization chamber. I have many ?s about THAT aspect rather than slowly bleeding backward into the blast chamber.
I guess that this is to allow rapid fire from an Infantry rifle. Yet, a bolt action would be better served by preventing the coaxial space from exhausting into the far endcap.
