Anyone Using the SilencerCo Harvester on a .30-30?

Post by He'sDeadJim »

Interested in this suppressor for my Marlin. Search function netted 0 results, and there's very little online that I can find, so thought I'd ask. Would love to see some pictures or hear from someone who has this combo.

This will be my first silencer and the primary purpose will be for hunting hogs. I use factory ammo.

With 40 minutes between your question (first post here ever) and your second (a complaint, apparently) on a working day, do you really have something to protest? How about waiting a day or two? Surely someone will come along, though being a relatively recently released product and with application wait times being months or even a year or more long, well, don't expect too many shooters to have hands-on experience with this particular suppressor.

EDIT: Oops, sorry, didn't notice the date difference between posts.

24 hours and 40 minutes.

I suspect not many folks have bothered suppressing a 30-30. Since the Harvester is for a .308 and 30-30 is a much lower pressure round, I imagine it will be fine. I suggest you call SilencerCo and ask to be certain.

No worries and thanks for posting. I'm certainly not here to complain. Going to go ahead with the Harvester, since I can use it on my AR15 as well.

There was a great video from Silencerco with them shooting the Harvester on numerous host calibers, posting db and recoil changes. Have you been able to find it? If not, I think I still have it on my email.

Yes, I did see that. Very helpful and probably what pushed me over the edge. Just no .30-30s on there.

Why don't you ask them directly? They're usually very responsive.

Working on a video review of it from when they came down awhile back. I got totally side tracked and did all the other cans and left out the harvester. It should be on my channel soon.
