Titan-Ti VS Harvester Big Bore

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

Titan-Ti VS Harvester Big Bore

Post by mk23 »

Thoughts?

I am really torn... Anyone handled/shot both?

They both appear to be same size, dimensions and weight. (That last bit about the weight I don't totally get, because the Titan is Ti and the Harvester is SS...)

Harvester has interchangeable threaded mounts, plus option for QD. For QD on the titan, you have to buy the QD model. Also the harvester is $500 less.

I own a both cans from AAC and SilencerCo and both are great. I don't know if the fact Remington now owns AAC maybe matters..

I've shot a Titan (no Ti) and handled the Harvester.

I don't know. The Titan is definitely going to be stronger and it's a legit military can. The Harvester might work perfectly for you.

For me.... I'd go the 300-TM because I'm going no larger than 300win. But Titan-Ti seems appealing. Perhaps wait and see what SHOT brings in a month?

Thanks for the response.

Kind of what I was thinking...

Might hang back for a month and see if anything new comes up at shot.

So long as it's actually available after SHOT. "Some" companies are pretty bad about this.

No experience with the harvester but I absolutely love my titan ti. Light enough, super accurate, very quiet on everything from my 223 to 338. Shifts poi 1 mil up just about all my bolt guns, no shift on the 300 blk. I do like the sound of modular mounts and a muzzle brake though... You probably won't go wrong either way.
