AAC Honey badger
Will you ever sell these to us civilians?

Re: AAC Honey badger
That doesn't really say either way.
Surely AAC can make a simple business decision and decide to manufacture something that will become vaporware the second it hits a shelf because people WANT to buy them.
Or will their corporate masters not see how simple it really is?
Rules of business 1-2-3
1.Design and build s--t people want and or need.
2. Sell that s--t to those people.
3. Make money

Thanks for the links, I've read quite a bit of speculation online and heard essentially the same stuff for months now.
Thinking..... black box.
That makes me sad.

Nobody from AAC will appear to answer my question?
Really?

Yes, but will they
and when?
and how much?
and what options will we have to choose from?
and is it going to happen for sure?
etc. etc. etc.
Hoping for some clarity....

I doubt we'll ever see it commercially.
It was an awesome design exercise for its time.

The Sig Sauer MCX completely obliterates the market for the Honey Badger. It's smaller, more user configurable, more adaptable, and has an entire line of parts to back it up.

Kinda how I see it too.
And I agree 100%. Not worth as much as the market would bear for sure, but it is a very cool weapon I want, not NEED.

Also, the Honey Badger is a 3-stamp gun. I don't think people would be lining up to buy one.

Re: AAC Honey badger
As far as I know, it is a one-stamp gun. Two if you have the suppressor.

Exactly what I was wondering, but he wanted to be right so I didn't ask.

Re: AAC Honey badger
The HoneyBadger used to have two suppressors at once (one built in and one muzzle) and was also an SBR. I redid the system and eliminated that. It was fine before, but it got incredibly reliable after those and other changes.

So, has there been a decision on release-date/pricing for the HB, or are we still in limbo?silencertalk wrote:The HoneyBadger used to have two suppressors at once (one built in and one muzzle) and was also an SBR. Re: AAC Honey badger
As Robert noted, one for SBR, one for the integral suppressor, and one for the muzzle suppressor module. I didn't know it had been redesigned since then. But I imagine it could be made a pure muzzle can with the right design touches.Sigproshooter wrote:Griz wrote:What is the third stamp for?Conqueror wrote:Also, the Honey Badger is a 3-stamp gun.
