STAMP DAY!

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

STAMP DAY!

Post by JeffWard »

Check cleared April 9th.
Stamp came yesterday, 8/11.

Tomorrow is load testing for my 300BLK SBR, and this weekend, it will run on my .308.

whoop whoop!!!!! I mailed a check for my Omega on 05/11/2015 so assuming it cleared shortly after I mailed it I should only be several more weeks away from approval!

Congrats and happy shooting!

Dealer called in regards to a correction letter from NFA Branch-11 for my M203. Hopefully 2-3 weeks & I'll have my little friend!

Greetings to all.

New user. First post.

Long time shooter (35+ years).

First suppressor.

Dealer called today. Paperwork filed with dealer on 6/22 and stamp arrived today 8/14.

I am truly surprised. I expected another 2-3 months before it came back!

Range time tomorrow!

BT

Here's my Omega with the flat end-cap. 6" long and 12oz! 8.25" barrel, results in a 29" OAL including the can.

Here's some testing. This is in a covered bay, like a concrete/railroad tie hanger, so there is a lot of echo. But it's still "conversationally" quiet, and very comfortable without muffs.

That is fast. I mailed a check to my dealer on 05/11 for my Omega and still haven't heard anything yet as of 09/10. Shouldn't be much more than 2-3 more weeks I'd think. Assuming everything went well with the paperwork and he didn't have to resubmit cause of an error. Hoping it's here in time to sight in the Savage .308 Hog Hunter and use it opening weekend of deer season!

Sent paperwork in yesterday 9/28/2015 now the wait begins. Took 6 months for my SBR getting a correction letter didn't help. Only thing wrong was I fat fingered my zip code by one number. Funny thing is I typed it 3 times to make sure everything was correct and legible, other two were correct. It was my first, very nervous. This time my dealer filled it out for the Omega. Still a little nervous.

Very cool!

When you applied for your sbr and had to list overall length did you measure it with the stock extended
or retracted?

it sounds counter productive but if you read the ATF paperwork (can't find it this second) they want the overall length with the stock extended. Makes no sense since you'd think they'd want to know the shortest it can be but the want the longest configuration.
