I have approx.. 30rds through it now. tonight I did the end cap mod and haven't tried it after the mod.
I have no formal training on the lathe but have been around them for many years. I have had this set-up for 6 months; http://www.grizzly.com/products/Combo-Lathe-Mill/G9729 and am the 3rd owner. No DRO.
30 cal, OAL 9.5", Tube 1.620 dia. , 32.1 oz . Yes it's big and heavy but will be used on a bench gun.
316 tube, 416 end caps, spacers and baffles.
bore is .355 except the break and first 2 baffles are .344.
blast baffle .100 thick and the rest are .070-.060.
the clips are .195 wide and .150 deep
all spacers are .060 thick
blast baffle is 2.831, the rest of the spacers are .620 long
The break has min. thickness of .100 thick.
The exit end cap holes (6) .125 dilled @ 44 deg.
I think I can still take some weight off the rear end cap.
The aluminum clamp is what I used to hold the baffles when cutting the clips.
I was surprised that it had less back pressure than I'd though it would and sounded good.
I electro etched the tube.

Nice work.
What cartridge and host? Why so much 1st chamber volume?
You could drill holes in the spacers to lighten the weight. For slowfire, the uneven heat spots on the tube wouldn't matter after the 1st 2 chambers.

308 AR10
Also forgot that I dipped the baffles and spacers in pure silicone before first firing.
After 30 rds everything wiped off with a paper towel, except in the blast chamber.

Capt. Link suggested making a coaxial design, I decided for me it was to complex for my first form 1.
I did take his suggested on using valve grinding compound on the threads, when threading, when you can screw together about 3-4 threads stop threading. put a small amount of valve grinding compound on threads. It will take maybe 5 minutes working it all the way together. But the threads are really tight and smooth.
The reason for the large blast chamber? I thought I had a lot of volume to play with so the chamber size.
I looked on posting photos but didn't find anything.

This is a very nice build and I'm sure you will be happy with it.

How do you like the ports and tone?
Did you check it against other 3o cal cans?
You could lose some weight / gain some volume in that end-cap
