M3 Grease Gun integral suppressed barrel

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Very nice, would be cool to see it installed and running!

Beautiful machining. Are barrels still available or a custom deal these days?

The customer sent me a new barrel for this build, not sure what cost him but it was still packed in cosmoline.

Great looking work. My dad used a grease gun when he served between Vietnam and Korea as an MP.
It's not a silencer, it's a can of whoopass!

Just when I was starting to have a budget again, you people start giving me ideas! Now I need to go dig out my spare M3 barrel to do the same!

Just let me know, I can have it ready to go before the papers come back. We can modify it from what you see, this is a non ported reflex design, with the 11" OAL we could cut an easy 5-7db by porting the barrel, the customer wanted to retain the velocity so we didn't port this one. We will pretty much build whatever you specify.

Sadly I'm not in the US, so I would not be able to enjoy the fruits of your superb work. My only option is to homebuild.

That thing sounds so cool :D
You went w/ the Omega design because?
How much trial and error did you have, getting it tuned right?

I used the Omega design because of the volume, the baffles are just similar to the Omega though, I used different angles, radii, and clips. I only had one time to test the suppressor, after shooting I came back to the shop and made a few changes that I knew would help.
