Thread adapter for M-1A

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

All NFA laws apply.

Thread adapter for M-1A

Post by ranb »

I'm looking at 5/8-24 adapters for my M-1A. I need one that mounts the original front sight.

http://www.midwayusa.com/product/620345 ... -m1a-matte $90

https://www.deltapdesign.com/m14-m1a-mu ... apter.html $196

Any recommendations? Thanks.

Either one should work fine. I bought a similar one from Gemtech a few years back, but I need to get another one for my new M1A scout rifle.

I'm getting set up to suppress my M1A also.

I'll be using a form1 can with a Griffin taper mount end cap.

I plan to shoot it both suppress and unsuppressed equally.

Any suggestions on which GA taper mount brake/comp to go with?
