Brothers in arms,
I posted a while ago about receiving my first .22lr suppressor (AAC Element 2). It is known for being one of THE quietest with very little FRP, if any at all.
I am searching for such a suppressor for a Glock 19. Tirant 9mm has good reviews, but it has aluminum baffles, which is no good for the dip. Rugged Obsidian 45 has good results for 9mm use, but has a noticeable FRP.
Is there such a thing as a 9mm suppressor that has little or no FRP and is very quiet (that also has stainless steel baffles)?
I'm very happy with my AAC Element 2. SO MANY centerfires that I need your help brothers.

I don't shoot 9mm, but my Octane45 is very quiet on 300blk.
SS baffles too.

A couple of people on this forum have commented that the Obsidian has a noticeable FRP. Is this also noticed with the Octane 45? They both seem pretty similar in design and construction so I would be surprised if there was much of a difference. I don't notice one from my Octane9.

That is strange, I've used an Obsidian45 on an 8" AR45 and didn't notice any FRP either. Probably has to do with bbl length in that instance though. I have a 4" AR9 and Obsidian that I'm waiting on papers to clear, I'll have to do some test & comparison when they come in.wmdaniel70 wrote:A couple of people on this forum have commented that the Obsidian has a noticeable FRP. Speak softly, and carry a big stick.

I bought the Dead Air Ghost M and I already have an Octane 45. I wouldn't buy a 9mm suppressor. .45 is more versatile and with an endcap change it can be just as quiet.

I ended up buying the SilencerCo Octane 9 HD today. .22lr AAC Element 2 has zero blowback with my Ruger 22/45. I'll be running the Octane 9 HD on a Glock 19. I heard blowback is so bad with that host that you can taste it. Well, I'll see in 8 months!!!
