A short video of my Form 1 45 acp suppressor

General silencer discussion. If you want to talk about a specific silenced rifle or pistol, it is best to do that in the rifle or pistol section for that brand.

I brought out my Glock 41 with a Flux Brace and my form 1 suppressor after nightfire qualification. Impressed the guys. https://youtu.be/Ys52dPU3jaU https://youtu.be/Ys52dPU3jaU

Congratulations to our younger generation who
appreciate the beauty of an efficient can and
their intelligence of saving their hearing.

Thank you for video.

I like it for what it is. If your looking for a very compact PDW type weapon I think it fits the bill. You have to remember that your going to have compromises. The compromises on this setup is a short length of pull remember this is a brace and not a stock so it's a bit short. I like short stocks so it's not really a problem for me but some may find it too short. The second is if you put your head too far forward and are wearing a hat the RMR could strike your brim. That being said I still like it. Is it perfect no but it does what I want be very compact. My next project thought will be a B&T chassis on a G17 you give up the ease of it being just a pistol but with it being an SBR you can have an actual stock and better length of pull. On the down side it's a little larger. Well that was a long answer but I hope it answered your question

Is the silencer a solid build or were you able to come up with a booster/piston setup?

I used the SD booster. I thing I will make my next one though. Now that I understand the construction better.
