Non threaded Springfield

Non threaded Springfield

Hi guys quick question, so on my Springfield Xd 9 I just got it does not have a threaded barrel. Is this a mod or can I have it threaded or can that be a replacement part? Excuse the newbie appreciate any feedback- Long live 2A :D

Buy a threaded barrel for it. It will cost about what having the barrel 'extended' would cost, plus you'd have the option of returning it to stock if traveling to/through a state where threaded barrels are prohibited.

If a threaded barrel is available, that's usually the best choice.

But yes, most any pistol barrel can be threaded and have an extension made for it, do them all the time.
