Have an opinion on ol' Wayne?

I happened to have the news on in my office so I caught the speech live.
I was saying this about him (for the same reasons) before he even finished speaking.

I'm so glad I wasn't the only person to think that he may have had great points, but his speech was ill-rehearsed, and came across as disjointed, and pleading/whining when a confident, well-articulated speech is what the occassion needed.
