Need Help Glock 17 and H&K USP 40 EVO 45 can
I need some help. I have an EVO 45 on my Kimber TLE II with a Barstow barrel. I purchased it almost 10 years ago and don't remember the thread pitch. I have a Glock 17 9mm and an H & K USP .40 that I would like to set up with the EVO 45. I need to know what I need to purchase to make it work....threaded barrel with what thread? spacer or adapter? new piston for the EVO 45? Any help is greatly appreciated!

You will of course need threaded barrels and pistons for the different thread pitches on each barrel.

Ok. So is it as simple as just threaded barrels and pistons? I don't need any other spacer or adapter? And does it make a difference what thread pitch I get or is it just personal preference?

Unfortunately we do not make pistons for that silencer in any other thread pitches besides the common .45 thread pitches.

Thank you Nick! So will I need a threaded barrel and adapter to use it, or am I just out of luck?NickAAC wrote:Unfortunately we do not make pistons for that silencer in any other thread pitches besides the common .45 thread pitches.

We do not recommend any thread adapters. I would not advise trying to use that silencer for anything other than .45 unfortunately.

We made a 9mm piston for the Evo45 a few years ago, and it cycles but it didn't sound very good at all. The baffle design isn't the greatest for the 45, for the 9mm its just plain terrible.
I would put that $$$ towards a new modern high performing can.

Roger that....thanks for the info....Final question...what would be the best can to get if I wanted to use it on a 9mm & .40? Or if I just want to stick with getting a quiet 9mm, what is the best one? I can live without putting a can on my .40.

I would get a Silencerco Octane 45. Works great on 45, 40 and 9, user serviceable and SS, will never wear out!usmcknight69 wrote:Roger that....thanks for the info....Final question...what would be the best can to get if I wanted to use it on a 9mm & .40?
