I recently purchased 4-AAC 762 SDN 6 supressors 3 for customers 1 for myself.
Today for the first time...(fired on semi-only)
I fired mine on an M14
A customer fired his on an AR-15
Both cans locked up tight, no slop.
BUT, both cans started to back off the 51t mounts after just a few rounds.
Is this normal? These are brand new cans and adapters

I have the SDN-6 and have used on .308, 300 Blk supers/subs, and 5.56...the 300Blks and 5.56s were semi-auto, never FA, but 200rds plus in a day, never had it back off...the bolt action .308 wasn't shot nearly as much suppressed, but no probs there either...
It's always the quiet guy in the room...with a suppressor.

On the plus side, I was impressed with how quiet they were shooting .308!

That's not normal, can you mount it, then spin it off without pressing the button?

No, its tight. Ive only fired it a few times. I plan on trying it again if it ever stops raining here!NickAAC wrote:That's not normal, can you mount it, then spin it off without pressing the button?
